Creator of popular Pokemon game Satoshi Tajiri loved to look for, study and play with bugs. He was known as Dr. Bug among his peers. In his teenage years he became fascinated with arcade games and even skipped technical school for a chance to spend time in arcade, which infuriated his parents. When he turn 16 he won a contest sponsored by Nintendo soon after he started a magazine Game Freak. His obsession with game progressed into him learning to program. Satoshi pitched his idea of Pokemon to Nintendo and 6 years later the game was born.
